Joint Release of SP 2020 Results

West Java BPS held a Joint Release of the 2020 Population Census Results (SP2020) on Thursday (21/1). This activity was carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia after previously the same release was carried out from BPS RI which started at 13.30 WIB.

Taking place in the vicon room of the West Java BPS office, this event was held online and offline. Also attending were officials from the West Java Province Population and Civil Registration Service.

From the results of SP2020, it is found that the total population of West Java is 48.27 million people with a percentage of men as much as 50.77% and 49.23% women.

The area with the highest population is Bogor Regency (5.43 million people). While the lowest is Banjar City (200.97 thousand inhabitants)
