"Building Villages from the Outskirts by strengthening regions and villages within the framework of a unitary state", is the third point of President Jokowi's Nawa Cita. But of course, development will not have the right direction if it is not based on accurate and correct data.

The 2021 Village Potential Data Collection (PODES) will be carried out on June 2 - 30, 2021 in all administrative areas at the village level including villages, sub-districts, nagari, Transmigration Settlement Units (UPT), and Transmigration Settlement Units (SPT) which are still being fostered by relevant ministries throughout Indonesia. Podes 2021 also covers all sub-districts, districts/cities throughout Indonesia. The purpose of the 2021 Podes Data Collection is to produce data for regional development purposes, provide data on regional potential, availability of infrastructure/facilities, as well as socio-economic conditions in each village/kelurahan.

As an initial step before implementing the activity, a Training of Data Collection Officers is carried out in the Regency/City. And for the City of Bogor, it will be held on 27 - 29 May 2021 using the E-Learning method and face-to-face virtually through the Zoom Meeting application. This training activity was attended by 10 Data Collection Officers representing 6 sub-districts in Bogor City and 4 Supervisors.
