Beautiful Village or Desa Cinta Statistik as one of the acceleration programs (Quick Wins) for optimization and standardization of sectoral statistical development carried out by BPS with a focus on villages. The guidance carried out by BPS in developing this Beautiful Village includes the principles of SDI, data collection, processing and analysis and it is hoped that the data will be utilized for development in rural/kelurahan or in accordance with the needs in the village/kelurahan area.

The need for knowledge of statistics in the village is deemed necessary for statistical guidance so that statistical data at the village level can be managed with standard norms so that the use and utilization of statistical data is better in village development and increases awareness and active role of village communities regarding the importance of statistics.

During the RT/RW Musrenbang activity in Katulampa Village, Saturday, November 20, 2021, the Head of BPS had the opportunity to introduce, explain and develop village officials in statistical management so that the statistics produced can be used at least for development in the Katulampa Village area. Lurah Eka Deri Rahmat Irawan welcomed the importance of statistics, especially with the election of Katulampa Village as a pilot and a booster for other sub-districts. Hopefully this beautiful village can play a real role in the development of the Katulampa community and Indonesia in general.
