Economic infrastructure is a facility that supports the economy in a region. Economic infrastructure can be an indicator to measure the economic development of a region. Good and adequate economic infrastructure can encourage economic growth, increase productivity and improve community welfare. One of the economic infrastructures that is quite important for the community is markets and shops.

In 2026, BPS will again hold an Economic Census. In the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded all types of businesses in Indonesia, except for agricultural activities, government services, defense, and household activities.

One of the activities that will be recorded during SE2026 is category G, namely wholesale and retail trade. Based on the 2024 Bogor Municipality Village Potential Statistics Publication, there are 160 shop groups and 21 markets spread across all sub-districts in Bogor Municipality.

Will this condition change? SE2026 will answer it
