The Gender Development Index (IPG) is an index released annually by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to measure the level of development success that has accommodated gender issues. IPG can describe the gap in development achievements between women and men.

The smaller the gap between the IPG number and 100, the more equal the development between men and women. Conversely, the greater the gap between the IPG number and 100, the greater the development inequality between men and women.

The IPG figure for Bogor Municipality in 2024 was 92.34. This provides an illustration that there is still a slight gap in women's development compared to men. However, the development of IPG in Bogor Municipality over the past three years has experienced an increasing trend.
