Hi #SobatData
Sampurasun
Did #sobatdata know that May 1st is designated as International Labor Day?
International Labor Day is commemorated as a form of appreciation for the dedication and struggle of workers in building the country. Workers are the backbone of the economy, the driving force of industry, and the main pillars in national development.
The issue of workers' welfare is still a concern, especially regarding the minimum wage. In West Java Province, based on the latest data, the highest district/city minimum wage (UMK) in West Java province is in Bekasi Municipality, which is IDR 5,690,752. While the lowest UMK was recorded in Banjar Municipality, which was IDR 2,204,754. Meanwhile, the UMK in Bogor Municipality in 2025 was recorded at IDR 5,126,897.
Happy International Labor Day. Let's continue to support workers' rights in order to create a fairer world of work.
