Abstract

In August 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Bogor Municipality of 2.43 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.67. The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index in all expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverages, and Tobacco Group by 3.16 percent; Clothing and Footwear Group by 1.77 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel Group by 2.33 percent; Household Equipment, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance Group by 0.41 percent; Health Group by 1.75 percent; Transportation Group by 2.22 percent; Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group by 0.58 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group by 1.10 percent; Education Group by 4.38 percent; Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision Group by 0.43 percent; and Personal Care and other Services Group by 7.26 percent.
