Abstract

In October 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Bogor City of 2.21 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.61.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index in all expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverages, and Tobacco Group by 2.90 percent; Clothing and Footwear Group by 1.43 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel Group by 2.22 percent; Household Equipment, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance Group by 0.42 percent;Health Group by 1.95 percent; Transportation Group by 0.40 percent; Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group by 0.54 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group by 0.91 percent; Education Group by 4.59 percent; Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision Group by 0.76 percent; and Personal Care and Other Services Group by 8.46 percent.

Month to month (m-to-m) in Bogor City there was inflation of 0.08 percent, while the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in October 2024 was 0.99 percent
