Abstract

In January 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Bogor Minicipality of 1.15 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.83.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index in most expenditure groups, namely the Food, Beverages, and Tobacco Group by 4.94 percent; Clothing and Footwear Group by 1.69 percent; Household Equipment, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance Group by 0.60 percent; Health Group by 2.23 percent; Transportation Group by 0.59 percent; Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group by 0.36 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group by

1.22 percent; Education Group by 4.61 percent; Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision Group by 1.19 percent; and the Personal Care and Other Services Group by 8.54 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group for Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel experienced deflation of 5.52 percent. Month-to-month (m-to-m) in Bogor City there was deflation of 0.54 percent, as well as year-to-date (y-to-d) in January 2025 there was deflation of 0.54 percent.
