Abstract

In May 2025, Bogor Municipality experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 1.63 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.56.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases in all expenditure groups, including the Food, Beverages, and Tobacco Group by 0.43 percent; Clothing and Footwear Group by 2.05 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel by 0.37 percent; Household Equipment, Tools, and Routine Maintenance Group by 1.69 percent; Health Group by 1.89 percent; Transportation Group by 0.38 percent; Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group by 0.36 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group by 1.55 percent; Education Group by 4.65 percent; Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision Group by 2.48 percent; and Personal Care and Other Services Group which experienced inflation of 11.92 percent.
On a month-to-month (m-to-m) basis, the Municipality of Bogor experienced deflation of 0.25 percent, and on a year-to-date (y-to-d) basis, in May 2025 there was inflation of 1.07 percent.
