Abstract

In October 2014 in the city of Bogor there was an inflation of 0.40 percent or an increase in consumer price index (CPI) to be. 114,62 All CPI cities in West Java recorded inflation. The highest inflation occurred in the city of Depok by 0.50 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in the city of Bandung by 0.14 percent.

Inflation is due to the general rise in prices indicated by the increase in the index. Changes of Bogor City index are: foodstuffs group 0.74 percent; food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.32 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.42 percent; clothing group 0.68 percent; health group 0.91 percent and education, recreation and sports 0.09 percent. Deflation of transportation, communication and financial services group 0.02 percent.

The 2014 calendar year inflation rate is 3.35 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (October 2014 against October 2013) is 3.63 percent.
