Bogor City Inflation in February 2015 was 0.14 percent

Abstract

In February 2015 in the city of Bogor inflation of 0.14 percent or an increase in consumer price index (CPI) to 117.21. Of all CPI cities in West Java, two cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in the city of Bogor by 0.14 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in the city of Sukabumi by 0.09 percent. Five cities experienced deflation. The highest deflation occurred in Depok at 0.54 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in Bekasi by 0.06 percent.
     Inflation is due to the general increase in prices indicated by the increase in the index. Changes in Bogor City index are: foodstuff category -1.42 percent; food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group 1.34 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 1.48 percent; clothing group -0.26 percent; health group 0.57 percent and education, recreation and sports 0.04 percent, while transportation, communication and financial services group by -1.52 percent.
     The inflation rate for calendar year February 2015 is -1.08 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (February 2015 to February 2014) is 4.54 percent.
