Abstract

In June 2015 in the city of Bogor there was inflation of 0.49 percent or an increase in consumer price index (CPI) to 119.96. Of the seven CPI cities in West Java recorded all cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in the city of Bandung and Tasikmalaya each of 0.72 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in the city of Sukabumi by 0.14 percent.

Inflation occurs because in general there is a price increase indicated by the increase in index. Changes in Bogor city index were: foodstuffs 1.77 percent; food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.18 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.08 percent; clothing group 0.17 percent; health group 0.15 percent and education, recreation and sports 0.01 percent. While the transportation, communication and financial services group 0.25 percent.

Inflation rate for calendar year of June 2015 is 1.24 percent and inflation rate / year to year (June 2015 to June 2014) is 6.55 percent.
